Exhibitor of Marca Poland - Polini Group
Polini Distillates, Wines & Beverages is one of the largest companies in the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages industry in Italy and a key player on the European market.
The company was founded in 1967 by the Polini family in the region between Bergamo and Brescia. Since then, it has been developing dynamically, while remaining faithful to its family values and the principles of ethics and professionalism. Over the years, Polini Group has gradually adapted to market changes, expanding production and modernizing technological processes. Currently, the company produces 25 to 30 million bottles a year, combining traditional craft methods with advanced automation.
Private label strategy and international expansion
Since the beginning of the 1990s, Polini Group has significantly intensified the development of its own brands (Private Labels), achieving a leading position on the market. The company has over 150 registered brands in Italy and approximately 20 brands with global reach, sold in 35 countries around the world.
In recent years, the company has focused on foreign expansion, investing in marketing and promotion. The flagship brands include: 2Nite vodka (popular in North America and Asia), Limoncello Liberty and the MySpritz aperitif line (available in a traditional version for mixing and RTD - ready to drink). In addition, the company took over and renewed the Fernet Vittone brand - the first Italian fernet, taken over directly from the Vittone family from Milan in the 1990s.
Infrastructure and production plants
Since 2009, all Italian Polini Group plants have been concentrated in one modern complex with an area of 57,000 m², of which 20,500 m² is usable space (offices, warehouses, production plant). In 2021, the company launched the Polini&Trida plant in Borgo Mantovano (MN), modernizing the local alcohol industry with over a hundred years of history. Currently, it produces, among others, Lambrusco IGP, Vino Cuvée Brut Millesimato and ready-to-drink wine-based drinks.
Since 2000, Polini Group also has a production plant in Spain. The 15,000 m² facility specializes in the storage and maturation of alcohol. There are over 15 million liters of drinks, approximately 40,000 barriques and over 350 precious wood barrels for aging distillates.
Ecology and sustainable development
Polini Group actively cares for the natural environment. The company installed 5,000 m² of solar panels on the plant's roofs, producing almost twice the energy needed for the plant's operations. In 2022, electric vehicle charging stations were installed and the transport fleet was replaced, adapting it to the latest EU standards regarding exhaust emissions.
The company supports ecological production processes by selecting suppliers using renewable energy sources and strategies to minimize the carbon footprint (e.g. by shortening the supply chain). Moreover, Polini Group has implemented a comprehensive waste recycling system (cardboard, plastic, glass).
