New PPWR and GPSR regulations - a lecture for brand owners and contract manufacturers
We cordially invite you to attend a lecture that will help FMCG companies prepare for new legal requirements regarding products and packaging. Experts from FOODLAW / PRODUCTLAW will explain how to divide responsibility between brand owners and contract manufacturers and implement the new regulations in practice.
The presentation concerns new regulations covering various categories of FMCG products and their packaging.
GPSR – General Product Safety Regulation
GPSR introduced significant changes regarding, among other things, labeling and documentation of various products, as well as product communication in online stores. Different products fall under GPSR to varying degrees. The division of responsibilities depends on whose information (name, trademark) is displayed on the packaging.
PPWR – Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation
Although this regulation applies to all entities professionally using packaging in their operations, the responsibility for fulfilling many of the new requirements (e.g., documentation, labeling, or packaging safety) will often lie with the product brand owner.
Experts from FOODLAW / PRODUCTLAW will present the basic requirements outlined in GPSR and PPWR from the perspective of a private label brand owner.
