PPWR and GPSR Regulations – new requirements for market placement, labeling, and documentation. What is the responsibility of the brand owner, and what falls under the contract manufacturer? The presentation will focus on new regulations that cover various categories of FMCG products and their packaging. The GPSR – General Product Safety Regulation – introduced significant changes regarding, among other things, the labeling and documentation of various products, as well as product communication in online stores. Different products are subject to GPSR to varying degrees. The division of responsibilities depends on whether information (name, trademark) is provided on the packaging. The PPWR – Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation – applies to all entities that professionally use packaging in their operations, but the brand owner will often be responsible for meeting many of the new requirements (e.g., documentation, labeling, and packaging safety). FOODLAW/PRODUCTLAW experts will present the basic requirements contained in the GPSR and PPWR from the perspective of a private label owner. Hosts: dr Patryk Kalinowski, Marcin Rytel – Food and Product Law Center
